Barnabas Gathering is Adonai Partners’ annual information sharing and fund raising banquet. It’s an opportunity for you to see and hear what God is doing in Africa through your investment. Bringing together donors, partners, team members and individuals interested in missions, the banquet provides an opportunity to hear and respond to God’s call for involvement in the harvest. At Barnabas Gathering you get to meet our team members, hear their stories and have an opportunity to ask questions. It will be a delightful and inspiring evening as we share a meal and talk about transforming Africa for Christ.

Barnabas was a very remarkable man in the New Testament. He was not one of the Twelve Apostles but without him, we would probably not have had the benefit of Paul’s ministry and his many Epistles. He started out as Joseph, selling a piece of real estate and turning the proceeds over to the Apostles. Later, he became a vital part of the much needed support network for the missionary efforts of the early Church. We are delighted to name our annual gathering of friends, family and donors after this great man of God. We trust you can be part of Barnabas Gathering this year. We invite you to a Barnabas lifestyle!

What will your support for Barnabas Gathering be used for?

Over the years, we’ve found out that Barnabas Gathering provides us an opportunity to recruit high-quality individuals for the work that Adonai Partners do in Africa. Also, since the bulk of our funding goes directly to support mission projects and missionaries on the field, Barnabas Gathering helps us raise support to cover our general administration during the year. Any additional funding will be used to pay for:

  • Funding for the Adonai Community Center, Aseni, Nigeria
  • Economic Development Projects for women in northern Togo
  • Discipleship Training for local team members
  • Support to Missionaries serving among Unreached people
