Melrose Maroh is a precious missionary working with Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) at their Lagos, Nigeria offices. She and her husband Joseph served among Unreached Peoples in Niger Republic until Joseph went to be with the Lord in July 1998. After that, she returned to Nigeria and has since taken up responsibilities in recruiting and training missionaries.

Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) is a non-denominational global Christian missionary movement of African origin, taking the gospel to the remaining unevangelized parts of the world with a particular focus on the Muslim peoples of Africa and the Arab world. The passion of CAPRO missionaries is to make Christ known where He is yet to be known. For more information on CAPRO, visit: www.capromissions.org

In spite of the challenges of widowhood and being a single mother, Melrose has remained steadfast in the work among Unreached Peoples in Africa. As with other missionaries in CAPRO, Melrose has no paid position. She and her children depend on support from members of the Body of Christ and this is often sporadic and inconsistent.

Please pray for Melrose as her boys wrestle with adolescence and prepare for college. Ask God to supply the funds they need for university education. Praise God for His amazing love and care over her family.

Melrose’s quest is “for God’s grace and anointing upon my life, so that I will continuously be useful in the Master’s hand.”

Things to remember about Melrose:

  • She’s a widow and mother of three boys, two of them teenagers
  • She’s an English graduate from the University of Jos, Nigeria (1985)
  • Her birthday is March 13
  • Her children’s birthdays: Evangel (Nov 28); Theophilus (Aug 13); and Ejiro (May 26)
